OPPO, the name of an electronics manufacturer based in Guangdong, China. Known for its smartphones, MP3 players, portable media players, LCD-TVs and DVD/Blu-ray players, is a mobile company which every mobile user in Africa is not quite familiar with, most notably the smartphone users. Though Oppo has been a major phone manufacturer in China for a while and had released some low-ranged and mid-ranged smartphone devices across the world, it has always been known to equip its smartphones with a great and impressive camera which apparently defines its market - the selfie lovers.
Oppo welcomes yet another player into the mobile market with the name Oppo A37. Oppo A37 is a mid-range smartphone device that puts more premium on 'advanced selfies'. Oppo A37 is launched in July 2016, powered by a 2530mAh battery which is non-removable and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Oppo A37 Display and Performance
Oppo A37 sports a widescreen display made with High Definition In-Plane Switching technology. It sports a 5-inch 1280 x 720-pixel resolution HD IPS screen, cornered with corning gorilla screen 4. With a high PPI, Oppo A37 has a crystal display and high-quality views from every projected angle.
Oppo A37 runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0 on top. The smartphone operates on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Soc with a Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor which has a CPU maximum clock speed of 1,200 MHz. Being Quad-core, it has a battery performance, making Oppo A37 a perfect device for multiple tasking without lag.
Oppo A37 Camera
Oppo A37 cameras, both the primary and the secondary, are strikingly impressive, with the main camera sporting 8 megapixels, while the selfie shutter has 5 megapixels.
Oppo A37 Battery
The battery of Oppo A37 is not quite impressive. The smartphone packs a non-removable battery with a capacity of 2530 Amh. Unfortunately, that's what you could get from an entry level device. Music could play nonstop for 15 hours of talk, and you can experience 9 hours of talk time. One will wonder why it still comes with a smart power notification for optimum power usage. It also charges super fast. A brief 30-minute charge lasts for almost two days on standby, one hour thirty minutes of talk time or over two hours of music.
Pros:
-5 IPS HD Inches screen display with 1280 and 720 px resolution.
-Corning Gorilla Glass 4
-Qualcomm Snapdragon
-5 MP Selfie shutter, impressive to have such lens facing you.
Cons:
-8 MP Primary camera. Someone need to remind Oppo this is 2016. The era of 8 MP camera is long gone.
-Non-removable 2530 Amh Battery is a no for me. In as much that battery durability depends on usage, it still not okay for an average user.
